Bottles, Babies & Business: A Weekend of Grace, Grit, and Gratitude

This past weekend was one for the books.

Since starting my new job with Family Services, I’ve stepped into the role of fostering two precious babies under the age of two. This weekend, we also provided respite care for another little one—also under two. That meant three babies, all in diapers, all on bottles, and all needing constant love and care.

Between the feedings, nap schedules, diaper changes, and soothing cries, I was also trying to keep the house running and the homestead afloat. laundry doesn’t fold itself, and the garden still needs attention. It was exhausting—but also deeply fulfilling.

And through it all—sales were coming in.

My digital business didn’t skip a beat. While I was rocking babies and prepping bottles, orders were processing, emails were sending, and new followers were finding my blog. That’s the power of building something online with purpose: it continues to work, even when your hands are full and your energy is low.

But I have to say this loud and clear: I couldn’t have done it without my closest friend.

On Sunday, she showed up like an angel—bringing energy, calm, and a helping hand. Together, we hit reset on the house: laundry got folded, dishes were done, floors were cleared, and the chaos started to feel manageable again. Her presence reminded me that this journey isn’t meant to be walked alone. We all need someone who shows up when the overwhelm starts to win.

This weekend was messy, beautiful, and powerful.

I’m living proof that you can foster babies, run a homestead, and grow a digital business all at the same time—but you don’t have to do it all by yourself.

If you’re juggling a million things and still have a dream to build something for your family’s future, I see you. You’re not crazy—you’re called. And if you need guidance on how to build income from home through digital products, I’m here to help. My Top recommended mentorship and resources are made for women just like you.

Let’s build something real—together.
